One thing that I recommend is that everyone do preventative maintenance regularly on their machines. A regular edger tune-up is a small process that can really work wonders and prevent major problems with your machine while you are on the job. I would recommend checking the bearings, pad, gear box, and brushes on a regular basis. These are simple tasks that I look at first on many machines that I see everyday when looking for underlying problems.
